Ky-Mani Marley has been a popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the most wealthy and most popular. He starred in the cult iconic film Shottas with another famous singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani, who signed with Shang Records for his 1996 debut Like Father Like Son album and singles such as Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the number one British reggae chart) as well as"Who the Cap (remix), Sensimelia and many more contributed to the rising recognition for his new generation reggae music. Ky-Mani and Praswell from the Fugees joined together in 1997 to create Avenue, a cover version Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was a part of the Midem event (an international showcase of music) that was the first time it was staged in Miami.
